Vietnamese customs requires companies to complete a review, update and clean-up of their data in the User Registration and Management System before December 31, 2026. Accounts that have not completed the process will be blocked from January 1, 2027.
According to Official Letter No. 23474 from the customs authority, regional customs branches must continue the plan to clean company data in the User Registration and Management System and notify businesses so they can meet the deadline.
The review, update and clean-up process began on September 25 under Official Letter No. 21692. It applies to companies that have registered accounts in the VNACCS User Registration System.
The data clean-up is intended to protect the security and safety of customs information systems and reduce the risk of companies being impersonated or accounts being used improperly.
To keep the process on schedule, the customs authority instructed regional customs branches to fully notify the business community about the letter, coordinate follow-up efforts and ensure that companies understand the completion deadline.
Companies must review, update and clean their data according to the guidance in Official Letter No. 21692/CHQ-CNTT. The deadline is before December 31, 2026.
From January 1, 2027, customs authorities will block customs declaration accounts in the system for companies that have not started or completed the review, update and clean-up. The accounts will be reopened only after the companies complete the requirements in the customs authority's guidance.
