On October 4, authorities in Tay Ninh said teams K70, K71 and K73 had found 112 remains of Vietnamese military volunteers and specialists who died during wartime. The work took place from September 4 to October 4 as part of the 26th dry-season search phase for 2026-2027.

Team K70, formed by the Political Department of Military Region 7, found 37 remains in Kampong Cham and Tboung Khmum provinces. Its members collected and checked information from local authorities, officials and residents.

Team K71, under the Tay Ninh provincial military command, found 33 remains in Banteay Meanchey, Oddar Meanchey and Siem Reap provinces. It also continued checking reports and working with local authorities and residents.

Team K73 found 42 remains, mainly in Pailin province. After verifying the information it received, the team expanded its search to Svay Rieng province.

The teams regularly surveyed the areas and checked each report from Cambodian authorities, officials and residents.

Changing weather and difficult terrain complicated the work. The servicemen continued the search while following safety measures.
