Vietnam's Ministry of Home Affairs has issued Circular No. 27, containing a list of work subject to special occupational safety and hygiene requirements.

The circular applies to the people covered by Article 2 of the Law on Occupational Safety and Hygiene, except Vietnamese workers employed abroad under contracts.

Provincial-level People's Committees must organize communication, dissemination and implementation of the circular in their localities.

The Employment Department is responsible for providing information and guidance, monitoring implementation, compiling data, evaluating the results and preparing reports on the circular.

Employers must identify work subject to special occupational safety and hygiene requirements in their agencies, organizations and units so they can provide workers with the required occupational safety and hygiene training under the law.

The circular will take effect on January 1, 2027. It contains a list of 31 work groups subject to special occupational safety and hygiene requirements.
