A social housing project in Ha Bang commune, west of Hanoi, will offer 100 apartments for sale at an average price of 23.5 million VND per square metre. The project is planned for completion by the end of 2027.
According to information from the Hanoi Department of Construction, the Tan Xa–Thach That social housing project is being developed by Tien Dat Construction Co., Ltd.
The project is in Ha Bang commune, near Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park and more than 35 kilometres west of central Hanoi. The plan calls for an eight-storey building with an additional technical floor and 112 apartments in total.
Of these, 100 apartments will be sold at an average price of 23.5 million VND per square metre. The price includes VAT but excludes the maintenance fee. With floor areas ranging from 55.2 to 68.91 square metres, individual apartments will cost nearly 1.3 billion to more than 1.6 billion VND.
Tien Dat Construction is also developing another social housing project in Ha Bang commune, Dong Truc–Thach That. It has 207 apartments for sale and 24 units for rent or rent-to-buy. The average sale price there is also about 23.5 million VND per square metre.
Hanoi has recently recorded a series of new social housing projects, with selling prices tending to rise. Three years ago, launch prices at social housing projects were below 20 million VND per square metre; prices above 30 million VND per square metre have since appeared in some projects.
Since the beginning of this year, Hanoi has started 33 projects with a combined 30,000 apartments, exceeding the target assigned by the government. In 2027, about 27 projects with 28,696 apartments are expected to be supplied to the capital's market. Another 101 projects with 86,216 apartments are planned for 2028–2030.
