The police investigation agency in Phu Tho province is seeking people who were advised to join or invested in the Bitharvest project. The case concerns alleged violations of rules on multi-level marketing.

On October 14, the police investigation agency of Phu Tho province (PC03) said it was investigating a criminal case involving alleged violations of rules on business conducted through a multi-level model. The activity took place from May 13 to October 3, 2025, in Viet Tri city, Phu Tho province.

According to the investigation, around March 2025, Nguyen Thanh Huong, born in 1965 and living in Binh Trung ward, Ho Chi Minh City, joined forces with several foreign nationals and launched the Bitharvest project online through the project website.

Participants were invited to invest in Bitbooster devices that were said to increase Bitcoin mining efficiency using artificial intelligence algorithms. In return, participants were promised a share of Bitcoin rewards.

According to police, the project offered AI70 Pro, AI80 Pro and S80 Ultra devices, as well as upgrade packages for older devices.

Participants were also promised ownership of the devices and mining revenue for five years. The advertised return from Bitcoin mining was 8-10% per month, with daily payments.

For the investigation, PC03 in Phu Tho asked police in provinces and cities across the country, as well as commune and ward police in Phu Tho province, to help find people who were advised to join or invested in the Bitharvest project and may be connected with the case.

People connected with the project and alleged victims can contact the police investigation agency of Phu Tho province at 216 Tran Phu Street, Viet Tri city, Phu Tho province. They can also contact Ly Ngoc Tuan at 0963.884.869 to provide relevant documents and materials and receive guidance under the regulations.
