The 2026 BIM Group IRONMAN 70.3 race week will take place in Phu Quoc, An Giang province, from November 13 to 15 and attract thousands of athletes.
Sunrise Events Vietnam is organising the event under the direction of the An Giang Department of Culture and Sports, with BIM Group as title sponsor. Athletes will swim 1.9km, cycle 90km and run 21.1km at Phu Quoc Marina.
The department said the event promotes an active lifestyle, strengthens the province's ability to host international sports events and supports local tourism and services.
BIM Group Chairman and CEO Doan Quoc Huy said sports tourism can become part of the Pearl Island tourism ecosystem. Six-time IRONMAN World Champion Mark Allen will attend for the fourth consecutive year.
Sunrise Events Vietnam will introduce the SEV EventConcierge assistant with schedules, race information, directions, preparation guidance and information about accommodation, dining and cultural attractions.
The programme also includes SUNRISE SPRINT Vietnam, IRONKIDS Phu Quoc, Newborns Vietnam/Healthy Vietnam Community Run and IRONMAN Village activities. Economic impact grew from 1.2 million USD in 2022 to 9.4 million USD in 2025, an annual growth rate of about 98%. Registration is at ironman.com/races/im703-phu-quoc.
