Cruise ships call at Cam Ranh International Port. Shore excursions in the province can include Po Nagar Cham Towers, Hon Chong, Dam Market and local craft sites.
Some ships are staying longer in the bay
Schedules now include visits that keep a ship in Nha Trang Bay for several days. Cruise stops previously often lasted only a few hours. A longer stay gives passengers more time for shore visits, though the itinerary depends on the ship and its operator.
Voice of Vietnam reported that after Star Voyager’s September call, operators had registered 24 more cruise ships for Khanh Hoa by the end of the year. The passenger count for 2026 had already reached about twice the total reported for 2025.
Where passengers arrive
Cam Ranh lies south of Nha Trang, so passengers usually need a transfer to reach the city and nearby attractions. Ship schedules, disembarkation times and shore excursions should be confirmed with the cruise operator because they vary by sailing.
