From Israeli drip irrigation systems to Japanese agricultural robots and AI-powered farming technologies, international partnerships are helping Vietnam reshape the way it grows food.

Affordable strategies

Vietnam cooperates with Israel, Chinese Taipei, South Korea, Japan, India, China and the Philippines. Partners support water-saving irrigation, biotechnology, automation and smart agriculture.

Access to technology

Financial constraints, farmers’ digital skills and data quality remain obstacles. The transition needs financial support, digital training and stronger agricultural extension services.

Germany is another potential partner in digitalisation, automation and climate adaptation. This article is based on a report by Viet Nam News.
