On the evening of October 19, the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command reported the results of the search for fallen soldiers' remains at Le Thi Rieng Park. The unit collected 14 more sets of remains, along with four sets of associated artifacts.

During the day, the forces processed more than 600 cubic metres of soil and continued expanding the search area in Zone B. To keep the work on schedule, the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command deployed three excavators, dump trucks and two 3.5-tonne trucks to dig and transport the soil.

So far, the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command has found and collected 778 sets of remains at Le Thi Rieng Park. Of these, 745 sets were collected separately, while 33 sets were found at eight mass grave sites.

The search and collection operation at Le Thi Rieng Park is being carried out in line with the conclusions of Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra at a seminar verifying information about mass graves of fallen soldiers in the area of Do Thanh - Chi Hoa Cemetery, now Le Thi Rieng Park.
