Ho Chi Minh City opened its fourth Green Growth Products & Services Exhibition, GRECO 2026, on October 26. The event is part of the 2026 Autumn Economic Forum and is presented as a platform for green transition and investment.

The exhibition is co organised by the Investment and Trade Promotion Centre of Ho Chi Minh City, or ITPC, the Vietnam Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the municipal Department of Culture and Sports and partners. It covers about 11,000 sq. m and includes roughly 300 standard booths. More than 90 local and foreign organisations and companies are taking part, presenting solutions, holding technology matchmaking sessions, promoting green transition and developing investment cooperation.

Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, described the city as a special urban area, an economic engine and a growth pole, as well as a major hub for finance, trade, science and technology, innovation and global integration. He said industrial transformation linked to green and digital shifts is a core task aimed at restructuring the economy towards smart, carbon neutral and sustainable growth.

“This is a practical action to concretise the National Green Growth Strategy and the commitment to achieve net zero emissions,” Ha said.

The exhibition comes as Ho Chi Minh City maintains its growth momentum. The city’s GRDP for the first nine months of 2026 is estimated at 2.46 quadrillion VND (94.6 billion USD), up 9.06% year on year. Industrial output rose 10.9%, while foreign direct investment topped 17.8 billion USD, an increase of 323.1%. High tech, innovation and digital transformation are attracting investor interest.

At the same time, pressure is increasing as international markets impose stricter green standards and Environmental, Social and Governance, or ESG, requirements. The city says it will improve the investment climate, speed up technology adoption, make supply chains in industrial parks and export processing zones greener, and ease access to resources for production and governance upgrades.

GRECO 2026 is intended to turn these goals into deals involving technology connectivity, trade and investment promotion and international cooperation. The exhibition gives companies access to advanced technology and sustainable production models and supports the development of a green consumer market.

The exhibition combines trade, investment, science and technology and green transition activities and is divided into four zones: high technology, green urban areas, green products and community experience.

The high technology zone presents artificial intelligence, semiconductors, the low altitude economy, automation, robotics, 3D printing and new materials. The green urban zone focuses on transport, energy, the environment and smart city solutions. The green products zone features circular economy goods, services and business models that meet ESG standards and connects research institutes and universities with startups.

The community zone presents products and technology to residents and promotes sustainable consumption, emissions cuts and waste sorting at source. The organisers say this is intended to broaden public support for the green transition.

Exhibitors include Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Agricultural Hi Tech Park, Saigon Hi Tech Park laboratories, Toyota Vietnam, Xiaomi Vietnam, Gree Vietnam, BBMG Corporation, the Republic of Korea’s National IT Industry Promotion Agency, the Korea IT Cooperation Centre, AIZEN Global, EMCT Inc. and OMODA.

The centrepiece is a 600 sq. m robotics demonstration by AICAP Group with AIBRAIN and AIROBO, involving the China Robotics Industry Development Alliance. More than 30 Chinese robotics and artificial intelligence companies and research institutes are taking part, presenting automation solutions and partnership opportunities.

From October 26 to 29, ITPC and its partners will hold five seminars, talks and targeted business matchmaking sessions. Topics include digital technology and artificial intelligence, green transition in energy, urban and environmental sectors, and supply chain, investment and innovation cooperation with partners from China, Nordic countries and Israel. Organisers expect about 100,000 visitors.
