At a dialogue with Ha Tinh's youth, People's Committee Chairman Phan Thien Dinh called for a supportive environment for young people's startups, innovation and direct contribution to local development.
He told departments and local authorities to implement youth development policies and include youth-related goals and targets in socio-economic development plans.
Departments and local authorities should select unresolved local problems and ask young people, young professionals and young businesses to work on solutions.
Local authorities must also create conditions for young people to start businesses, apply science and technology and pursue innovation.
Dinh said promoting Ha Tinh on digital platforms requires substantive work involving young people and content creators.
He assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to prepare a plan to digitize existing cultural and tourism materials. This official data will support promotion, give content creators material to use and make it easier for visitors to learn about Ha Tinh.
Young people submitted 20 proposals focused on digital transformation, startups, the green economy, e-commerce, tourism promotion and employment.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen of Ha Tinh Power proposed developing the i-HaTinh app into a platform with essential services for residents.
Dang Van Cuong, director of Thanh Sen Cooperative, proposed stronger links among influencers, artists and content creators to promote OCOP products, craft villages and experiential tourism.
Kieu Cong Long of Song Tri Ward proposed bringing together young workers in economic and industrial zones, connecting businesses with vocational training institutions, forecasting hiring needs and upgrading the online job exchange.
Young startup businesses asked for help with access to capital and land, startup incubators and markets for OCOP products.
Department representatives answered the proposals within their authority.
