The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that showers and thunderstorms are expected from the evening of October 29 until the morning of October 30 across the Red River Delta and southern Phu Tho Province. Rainfall will generally be 10 to 30 mm, with isolated areas receiving more than 60 mm.
On the night of October 29, scattered showers and thunderstorms are also forecast from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang, in eastern parts of Quang Ngai and Dak Lak provinces, and in Khanh Hoa, the southern region and Lam Dong Province. Rainfall will generally be 10 to 30 mm, with isolated areas receiving more than 80 mm.
On October 31, the North is expected to have showers and thunderstorms in a few places, with sunny conditions during the day.
The meteorological agency said Hanoi and some northern areas may be affected by two weak cold-air outbreaks combined with upper-level wind convergence around November 2 to 8. These conditions may bring rain to many areas and cause temperatures to fall slightly. Sunny days are expected between the rainy periods.
Other areas are forecast to have showers and thunderstorms in a few places and sunny conditions during the day. In the southern region, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong, scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible in the late afternoon and evening, with isolated heavy rain.

South-central coast
The north will be mostly cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms and isolated heavy rain. The south will have cloudy skies and showers and thunderstorms in a few places, with scattered showers and thunderstorms and isolated heavy rain in the late afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms may bring whirlwinds, lightning, hail and strong gusts. The low will be 23 to 26°C and the high 29 to 32°C.
Central Highlands
