The special arts programme for Vietnam Culture Day 2026 will take place at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi from 8pm on November 24. The organisers expect around 50,000 people to attend.
The Hanoi People’s Committee issued Plan No. 410/KH-UBND on October 22, 2026, on organising the programme.
The programme is intended to present culture as a spiritual foundation and a resource for national development, while honouring Vietnamese cultural values shaped over thousands of years. These include patriotism, great national unity, and the identity and character of the Vietnamese people.
It will trace the continuity of Vietnamese culture from its origins to the present and future. The programme will connect traditional heritage with contemporary creativity and combine traditional arts with modern stage technology.

The event will also link Vietnam Culture Day on November 24 with the Great National Unity Festival on November 18. Hanoi plans to make the period a week-long series of cultural activities promoting solidarity and cultural values in the community.
The programme will begin at 8pm on November 24, 2026, and last no more than 120 minutes. It will be held at My Dinh National Stadium in Tu Liem ward, Hanoi. Vietnam Television (VTV) will broadcast it live. Hanoi Radio and Television will also relay the event live on its channels and platforms and install several LED screens so people in areas far from the city centre can watch it.
