Once completed, the building is expected to provide workspace for about 6,000 digital technology specialists and support workers.

Truong Viet Dung, vice chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, said at the event that he hoped the project would be completed on schedule. He said it could also attract skilled workers, technology companies and research institutions, helping form a competitive technology center.

Nguyen Van Khoa, FPT's general director, said the company aims to develop Tay Tuu and Phu Dien into a space for developing talent, conducting research and applying technology, connecting knowledge with production and the market.

Through the project, FPT is supporting Resolution 57-NQ/TW on developing science and technology, innovation and digital transformation. The company also aims to help Hanoi attract skilled technology workers, promote cooperation among research, training and businesses, create new technology products and gradually strengthen its ability to master strategic technologies.

According to the plan, FPT Digital Technology Park will cover about 194.3 hectares, including about 58.5 hectares for a concentrated digital technology zone. Once the entire complex is operational, it is expected to provide workplaces for about 75,000 people.

The project is intended to support research, training, production, business and digital technology services, contributing to Hanoi's innovation ecosystem.
