On October 25, the Immigration Management Division of Đồng Nai City Police said it had found a violation at a company in Đồng Xoài III Industrial Park, located in Bình Phước Ward.

The division and other professional units had inspected the company. They found that it invited, sponsored and arranged entry, exit and residence for foreign nationals but did not meet its legal responsibilities.

The 91 foreigners had worked at the company for more than 90 days without work permits or documents confirming that they were exempt from the permit requirement. The company had also employed foreign workers who did not meet the legal conditions.

The inspection team prepared an administrative violation file against the company and related individuals in accordance with the law.

The Immigration Management Division said that employing foreign workers without the required conditions could expose the company to penalties, affect oversight of labor management and create risks for public order.

To prevent violations, the division advised companies to review the legal documents of all foreign workers and allow them to work only after they receive a work permit or a document confirming that they are exempt.

Companies must also fulfill their sponsorship and foreign-national management duties, promptly notify authorities when a worker leaves, ends an employment contract or changes residence status, and properly handle the related paperwork.
