DigiFest Dong Nai 2026, a digital technology festival, will take place from October 30 to November 1, according to the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology.
The festival is themed “Digital transformation and innovation: From policy to practical results, creating new growth drivers for Dong Nai.” It will cover science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the city and the southeastern region of Vietnam.
The festival is held to mark National Innovation Day on October 1 and National Digital Transformation Day on October 10. It will also put into practice Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthrough development in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
The program follows a “three real” principle: a real problem, a real solution and a real result. It aims to address practical local issues and expand the use of technology in governance, production, business and social life.
The main event will be the DigiFest Dong Nai high-level forum, scheduled for the morning of October 31. Participants will discuss the city’s development strategy and turning science, technology and innovation into drivers of growth.
The thematic seminars will cover the digital economy, the smart-city ecosystem, logistics, airports and seaports, as well as digital transformation in destination branding linked to cultural development and sustainable tourism.
The discussions will focus on making effective use of data and developing digital government, the digital economy and digital culture. Participants will also seek ways to apply artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, digital twins and other advanced technologies in practice.
Alongside the forum and seminars, an exhibition of technology, digital transformation and local OCOP products is expected to feature more than 200 booths. More than 100 companies from five countries will take part, and organizers expect about 5,000 visitors.
The exhibition will present platform solutions, digital services, artificial intelligence technology, big data, robots and automation tools.
Through dialogue, investment connections and the exhibition, DigiFest Dong Nai 2026 aims to strengthen links among government agencies, experts, research organizations, businesses and investors. The program also seeks to build contacts with international partners and attract international resources.
