Hong Nhung, Ha Tran and international musicians
The first festival is organized under the direction of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee. Musician Huy Tuan said Da Lat was chosen to create a regular music event for the city and connect it with international artists touring in Asia.
"We are not putting on a one-off event. We are steadily building a cultural brand with depth, whose artistic value will accumulate from season to season so that Da Lat becomes a notable city of musical heritage on the map of contemporary world music," Huy Tuan said.
The festival will feature Japanese singer Lisa Ono, American bass guitarist Nik West and guitarist Raul Midón. Lisa Ono is associated with bossa nova and has received the Japan Gold Disc Award in the jazz category several times. Nik West performs, works as a producer and founded the Queen of Strings competition. Raul Midón, a blind guitarist, has received two Grammy nominations in the jazz album category. His music combines jazz, pop, soul, R&B, flamenco and Latin influences.

Vietnamese participants will include Hong Nhung, Ha Tran, Nguyen Le, Duc Tri, Hoai Sa and other musicians. Duc Tri will present Musique de Salon, Le Grand Orchestre et Jazz, a project combining an orchestra with jazz elements.
Guitarist Nguyen Le will perform with a French band and Hong Nhung. After the concert Bống là ai?, they will continue exploring Trinh Cong Son's songs through jazz arrangements. Hoai Sa will rework several Vietnamese songs with singer Tran Thu Ha.
Trần Mạnh Tuấn Fusion Band will present experiments combining Western harmony with pentatonic scales, folk music and traditional instruments. The festival will also feature Dadada, JKC and other artists.

Three music nights at three venues
According to the organizers, the Vietnam Jazz Heritage Festival 2026 will run for three consecutive nights, from November 6 to 8, at three different locations in Da Lat.
The festival will open on November 6 at Lam Vien Square, with an outdoor stage for the public.
On November 7, the program will move to the area around Hoa Binh Cinema Square, near Da Lat Market. The organizers expect the central location to make jazz more accessible to residents and tourists instead of limiting it to specialized concert venues.
The final evening will take place on November 8 at HAUS Da Lat. It will be an invitation-only program.
The three venues have different formats: a public square, an urban space and a venue with limited capacity. The festival aims to bring jazz to different parts of Da Lat and expand the city's music and tourism offerings alongside its scenery, architecture and climate.
