Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) reported its results for the first nine months of 2026 at a conference reviewing the company's performance during the period.

The airports managed by ACV served more than 94 million passengers, up 8.6% from a year earlier. Cargo volume reached 1.4 million tonnes, an increase of nearly 10%. Aircraft takeoffs and landings totaled 568,445, up 7%.

ACV's parent-company revenue rose 6% year on year, while pre-tax profit exceeded 31% of the full-year target. With a 2026 pre-tax profit target of VND7.011 trillion, ACV had preliminarily reached about VND9.184 trillion after nine months.

ACV manages and operates 22 airports across the country and is the investor in Long Thanh International Airport. The national aviation infrastructure project has a total investment of about US$16 billion.

On the stock market, ACV shares closed trading on October 15 at VND41,000 per share. The company's market capitalization was about VND147 trillion.

Alongside operating its existing airports, ACV is directing resources to major infrastructure projects, including Long Thanh airport.

ACV's management said it had met with banks providing credit for the project. The meeting covered an update on construction, a review of the disbursement plan and the credit conditions that still need to be completed. The review is intended to provide funding for ongoing work and the final stage of construction.

Under ACV's plan, the company is aiming to begin commercial operations at Long Thanh International Airport in December this year.

In the fourth quarter, the company will continue pursuing its 2026 production and business targets, maintain operations at its existing airports and carry out major investment projects.

At Long Thanh, the priorities are construction progress and completing the technology, procedures, equipment and staffing needed for an integrated launch.
